♥LOVE of CHRISTMAS!!!♥

I can already feel the cold breeze of Christmas. Everyone seems so excited. Everyone is preparing for an elegant celebration for Christmas. I can see everywhere the beautiful decorations for Christmas like the shining Christmas lights, the brilliant parols and the talling Christmas trees.

It was October when typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng at the same time destroy our crops, houses and many properties. We were all very sad for what happened to us. Some already lost hope because they lost their houses, crops,their business and most of all their loveones. We were lucky because we don't lost our loveones only our properties. There are Filipinos who are concern in their situations. They are helping them to start a new life again. They are giving what they can give. They give because they love them. It is love for our fellowmen. They don't want that their Christmas will be ruined. LOVE is the true essence of Christmas. It is the root of everything. For good reasons or for bad reasons. Christmas is the birth of Christ, our Savior and only The Greatest Man Lived in Earth. Everybody are enjoying the celebration and happy together with their loveones. We forgive those people who had sinned on us. You don't know how to love if you don't know how to forgive. We share, unite, love and forget our problems.

For me, Christmas should be the happiest day of our life. It only happens once in ayear. So give a part of yourself to others. Loving and sharing are the best we can do during Christmas Day.

Busy November........

♥The month of November is one of the busiest months of the year. There are many activities that we need to accomplish.♥
♥This month is the Filipino-Values Month Celebration. This celebration was lead by the Values Club. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday the Values Club have their morning trivia after the flag ceremony where students have their chances to win such a reward. They also sponsor many activities like poster making, kite flying and many more. The STEP Club had their Division Level Contest. Contestants from the different schools of Vigan City attended the Division Level Contest. The winners will represent our Division in the Regional Level to be held at Pangasinan. The opening program of the City Meet ’09 was held at Ilocos Sur National High School Gymnasium. Athletes representing the different schools of Vigan City attended the program. All aim to win and to take the crown of the over-all winners. All the CAT Officers of CAT I-Unit of Ilocos Sur National High School were excused from their classes to have their duty during the meet. I stayed and have my duty at the volleyball court. We drive the students and athletes away from the playing area. After this, all of us were very tired and we all want to have a long long rest so that we can recharge from those works we’ve done. ♥

MAGIC TAGS!!!

Another quarter is again over. Knowledge I've learned were stored in my mind. For I know that I'll need them someday......somehow. In my subject TLE- ICT IV, I've learned again lot of things about computer. Before I thought that computers are for encoding, searching and playing games. But now I've learned that computers have lot of uses. It's the best technology they ever invented. In working in our activities, the tags that we were using are like magic. You just type the tags that are needed then save it and then open the saved document. You'll see that it's very good and beautiful. These tags have lot of uses. Let us not just forget them.

Moving on I'll continue using these tags whenever I need them.

♥MY MIGHTY SUPERHERO TEACHER!!!♥

They always put things in the right and proper place. They correct the wrong and make a bright future for each of us. They always understand us even we make something wrong. They love and care us everytime we were at them. They treat us as their own child. They are our second mother in life.

Mrs. Catherine Rabena Rafanan. A name that isn't familiar. Maybe because you don't know her. let me introduce to you my one and only best mother in the world. She is ateacher beacause she taught me the right manners I should always do and show to the public. She let me know those ideas and things that I should know. She guides me in my studies and all the problems I am facing. She never left me alone and she is always at my side. When I need something, she never think twice to give it, unless it will not make me good and will not develop myself. She took good care of us everyday. I want to thank her but I know that this will not be enough for all his sacrifices for me.

She is my hero. A mighty superhero sent by God. She is always ready especially when we are going to school. She always there at my side whenever I need someone to lean on. She is the one who gave me life and brought me to this wonderful world. She is a savior given to me by God. She is a hero because she can do things at the same time. She can be a mother, a teacher and a hero of mine.

My teacher, my hero and my mother. If she didn't became a teacher, teenagers might be at the streets and might not have good life. In short, we're all be insane without them.

SCIENCE MAKES INNOVATIONS THAT LEAD TO PROGRESS!!!

Science makes history itself. Science has been developing the world and makes it to modernize world.

Science is an interdisciplinary research where conversations are widened to make a good results.

Science starts from a study and then scientists widened their minds to discover things that could give us more knowledge and help us in our daily routine. Nowadays, there were many changes that are happening in our environment. Maybe some of us didn't notice these changes. Many innovations have been made that contributes much to our progress. You can observe now that we are using different kinds of cars in traveling to some places we want to go. There are bicycles, motorcycles, cars, buses and many more. With these inventions, we are already conserving our time and energy instead of walking all along. We can now communicate with our relatives and friends whether they are in other places with these newest gadgets use for communicating. You can talk and see each other using webcams and other phones. Computers were invented so that we can also search more information about a topic instead of going to a library borrowing books for our research works. These were some of the proofs that Science has really makes our world modernize. Let us not only focus in the inventions being made but also to our nature that keep us live in this only world where life is possible.

Ordinary people like us have to widened our minds so that we could also discover things that could help in making a better world and future for our kids.Give importance to Science for the reason that it will also cooperate with us to make our world a better one.

♥Wikang Filipino; love, use and be proud!♥

Do you really know what Wikang Filipino means? It importance to Pilipinos? How to use it properly?
Long time ago, Philippines has many languages that has been used by the Pilipino. Every single place has their own dialects that was used by the people who live at that place. Their ancestors taught them their dialect and how to use it. They are not using any language instead of their own. They talked by themselves because they were the only who could understand what they were saying. They were not traveling and can't mingle to others because they can't understand each other. And this was the major reason why there were misunderstandings that resulted to conflicts at that time. And success and national cooperation was possible to attain.
Then there was a place called Baler. This was the birthplace of one of our greatest leaders and the founder of our national language. With his long time in serving the country and the Pilipinos, one of the greatest accomplishments of this leader that marked our history was the declaration of our National Language--Designated in the 1987 Philippine Constitution, Wikang Filipino was the official national language of the Philippines. Manuel L. Quezon, the Father of Wikang Filipino, established this to unite the whole country--from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Great change had happened after the declaration, Filipinos from the different places--from the lowest ethnic groups to the cities-- adopted and learned this language. They were not anymore afraid of traveling to places and traded their products. They mingle with one another in a peaceful manner because they understand each other. This language had turn the counties economy to progress. Nationalism was indeed observed. Our country became known around the globe and internationally competitive.
Being a Filipino, it is our responsibility to discover the real essence and history of our National language--Wikang Filipino. We need to use it properly and be proud of it. Shout out that you are a Filipino and stand for the Wikang Filipino.

♥This is My World!!!♥

Three years have already gone since I enter Ilocos Sur National High School and now I’m already a fourth year student or so called a senior student.
With these years, I’ve already learned many things about the world. These knowledge’s help me to my daily life. I apply it to my every doings and every action just to make it good, perfect and have a nice result. I’m now an officer of the CAT-I Unit of Ilocos Sur National High School. Our duty is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the school. I’ve faces those students who are hard to discipline. They always complain and sometimes they make us angry. I have to control my emotion of anger just to show them that I don’t care. I’ve learned the history of Internet. I’ve been exploring and using some of its programs. With the help of our subject TLE- ICT IV, my mind has been widened because of the knowledge about computer and internet that I’ve been learning. Surfing in the internet is really fun and enjoyable. The best in this subject is that you can surf in the internet and computer and at the same time you’re learning and enjoying your work and activities. I can’t forget those sleepless nights in making my assignments, making projects just to make it good and perfect and studying my lessons. Teachers are teaching us new lessons that we may also encounter when we study in college. Some lessons were used to refresh our minds and remember it all the time.
I will do my best to finish my studies and have a descent life and work. I will never disappoint my parents and some of my close relatives who are supporting and helping me in my studies. Someday I will return their help if ever they need it. They will always be in my heart. I will never forget those who will help me to become a successful woman.

Speak English or Filipino Properly With Kindness

Our school had been starting a campaign for Speak to me in English or Filipino. This activity is under the leadership of the English Club and Filipino Club.

The scool is teaching us, the srudents, to speak in English or Filipino properly inside the campus. They don't allow us to speak in Taglish because that is not the proper way of speaking. Eventhough, some of us are not following the campaign. We are still speaking in ou dialect, Iloco. But sometimes we speak in English or Filipino. Our teachers sometimes remind us to speak in English or Filipino properly with kindness. They are training us because it is for our own good. So that we'll be ready and prepared if ever we will go to the other country to work or have our vacation.

Speaking in English or Filipino properly with kindness sometimes make you feel proud of yourself. It has many benefits for ourselves. Why don't we follow the campaign and be proud of ouselves.

Proper Nutrition is Needed to Have a Satisfying Life

As the world getting better, many things are being created. Technology help us in our daily activities in order for us to work fast, consrve money and time and to have a better result. But these technologies are the one that produces many viruses that makes our life short. They are giving us diseases that are dangerous and hard to find medicine for curing.

Everyone wants to become healthy, isn't it? A healthy body do his/her work in a right way. An unhealthy body doesn't have a happy day and satisfying life. How could you enjoy your life if you're always in the hospital lying on the bed. You don't even see the shining sun. Maybe they are unlucky because they don't have healthy body. We can be healthy if we want. In order to become healthy, we should eat nutrious foods like vegetables, fruits and other more that are rich in vitamins and minerals. The food we are eating should be balance. We should not only concentrate on the foods we are eating. We should make ourbody clean as well as our surroundings. We feel good if our surrounding is clean. We must excercise everyday at least 30 minutes. Excercise condition our body and prepare us for our daily activities.

We can fight and avoid viruses getting inside our body if we were healthy. A healthy body is the best armor in fighting diseases.
